Live the Life of a Professional

As part of our partnership with Scottish Rugby, we’re able to offer school and club teams the chance to train with SRU level 2 and 3 coaches as part of their inspiresport tour. Benefitting from expert knowledge and experience, your sessions will include practical rugby drills and also a specific Strength and Conditioning session. A behind-the-scene tour of BT Murrayfield is also included. Match tickets to watch international fixtures may be added subject to availability, or alternatively there may be an opportunity to watch Edinburgh Rugby depending when you tour.

Edinburgh is a city that has to be explored on foot, so your inspiresport representative will suggest the best itinerary to capture the city’s famous sights. We can also arrange some exciting activities, such as the popular Highland Games experience.

Club Background

Scotland won the Five Nations title outright 14 times including the 1999 tournament (the last before it changed to Six Nations) and shared the championship a further eight times. They have won three Grand Slams in 1925, 1984 and 1990, in addition to a further seven Triple Crowns.  They also contest the Calcutta Cup with England as part of the championship and are the current holders thanks to a 20 – 17 victory at Murrayfield in February 2022.

Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland and is rich with history, attracting tourists from across the UK and overseas throughout the year. For schools and clubs in Northern England and Northern Ireland it is easily accessible by coach. There are flights from most regional airports in the south of England and Wales.
